What Matters? by Katrina Becker

The following was sparked by, among other things, that quote from a couple classes ago of Clodovis Boff: "This is all so essential to recuperate out humanity- to liberate what is most fine, most noble, most profound, most human within us.  Life isn't only struggle. It's struggle and play!"

Compassion fatigue matters.
Apparently poetry matters (it does).
Agency and agencies matter.
Listening to a Cardinals game barefoot on a porch matters.
Adequate sleep matters.
Ad majorem Dei gloriam matters.
Embracing cliches despite their cliche-ness matters.
Poetic rhyming with prophetic matters.
Pad thai on South Grand matters.
Hungry kids on south-er Grand matter.
Feeling validated by your Myers-Briggs type matters.
Snail mail matters.
Heartwarming moments matter.
Heartbreaking moments matter.
Golden retrievers matter.
Listening carefully and caringly matters.
Recuperating our humanity matters.

  1. The moment-to-moment, the day-to-day, the month-to-month matters. Thank you, Katrina.
